IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clinton Marshall
Brooks
January 5, 1942 – March 21, 2021
Clinton (Clint) Marshall Brooks, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was under the care of his family and Alliance Hospice.
Clint was born on January 5, 1942, in New Haven, Connecticut to Marshall James Brooks and Lucille Elizabeth Augustine Brooks. He attended Notre Dame High School. He graduated from Notre Dame University in 1963, with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He earned a Master's Degree in Science from State University of New York.
On February 25, 1994, he married Sarah Margaret Fisher in Everett, Washington. He was previously married to Patricia Steffani.
Clint has lived in various places in the country as he followed his career path. He has been happily employed for the past 15 years as a project manager, consultant, and teacher in the area of alternate energy, specifically wind farms.
He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2003, at the age of 61. He was able to work as an ordinance worker in both the Idaho Falls and Seattle temples. The callings that brought him the greatest joy have been teaching the 7-year-olds in Primary, right after he joined the church and then just a few years ago teaching the 11 year-olds, who he truly loved.
He enjoyed running and loved when he was able to run with his daughters and stepdaughter. He was very artistic and did computer-generated art call Fractals for many years. He loved learning and teaching and was able to do both up to his death.
Clint was a man of honor and integrity, whose greatest desire was to follow the Savior. He was a kind and loving man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren with complete devotion. He blessed the lives of those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Brooks of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his daughters: Ellen (Steve) Merrill of Bothell, Washington, Mary (Mark) Chrisman of Seattle, Washington, and Katie (Robert) Brooks-McDade of Anacortes, Washington; his stepsons: Robert Hemsley of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Gregory (Suzy) Duce of St. George, Utah, Gerald (Jenny) Duce of West Lake Village, California, and Michael (Krista) Duce of Lake Stevens, Washington; his stepdaughters: Elaine (James) Maglaras of Stanwood, Washington, Aimee (Craig) Schuh of Anacortes, Washington, and Kristine (Kevin, deceased) Stamper of Seattle, Washington; his sister, Pam Fritz of Clinton, Connecticut; and 21 grandchildren.
