Conroy H Adams, 89, of Idaho Falls, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at his home. He was under the care of Aspen Hospice.

Conroy was born June 2, 1934, to William Heber Adams and Arlitta Hatfield Adams in the small town of Sulfur Bar, Idaho near Alpine, Wyoming. He was born at home with no doctor, being delivered by his sister, the doctor came two days later.

He grew up in the Swan Valley area and attended Idaho Falls High School, graduating in 1953. He continued his education at BYU, receiving a bachelor's degree in accounting with minors in business management, math, and German.

Conroy joined the United States Army on December 9, 1953, in Fort Douglas, Utah. He was stationed at Fort Ord, California, and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged from service on September 13, 1956.

On June 12, 1957, Conroy married Arlene Andersen in Idaho Falls. They were married just a few months shy of their 65th Anniversary. Arlene passed away on February 14, 2022. They lived in Provo, Utah and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Conroy worked as an independent contractor, teacher, accountant, and farm laborer.

Conroy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served for thirteen years as a service missionary and served in many other callings. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. He also liked gardening and building and was an avid reader. He set an example for his family of hard work, loyalty, service, and love.

Conroy is survived by his sons: N. Daniel (Suzette) Adams of Idaho Falls, Idaho, H. Michael (Jotien) Adams of Firth, Idaho, W. David (Teresa) Adams of Rigby, Idaho, and Richard L. (Jody) Adams of Lehi, Utah; and his daughters: Corene Adams of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Amy (Benjamin) Muench of Rigby, Idaho; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Elmina, Lucetta, Shirley, Helen, Rita, Nita, Billie, and Renee; and brothers: Fred and William.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Orvin Ward, 6925 North 15th East, Idaho Falls. A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:45 prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery in Rigby.
