Connie was born on November 30, 1940, in San Diego, California, the daughter of William T and Maxine Holmes. Connie married her husband of 34 years, Boyd L. Cripps, June 29, 1972 at the LDS Temple in Los Angeles, California.

Her life's passion was genealogy, baking bread, sewing and e-mailing friends and family. Connie was a loving wife and caring mother who especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Her sense of humor, love of playing games and tender care will be greatly missed.

One of Connie's most passionate and fulfilling experiences while on this earth was the 10-year stretch working in the Saint George Utah Temple. Among the many other church callings that Connie also enjoyed was the time that she and her husband spent working at the Saint George Utah Family History Center.

Connie is survived by her husband, Boyd; mother Maxine of Mountain Home, sister Patricia Northam of Visalia, CA, two children, Dawn Patricia Woodward of Visalia, California, James "Jim" Boyd Cripps of Idaho Falls; 4 grandchildren, Summer and Kaelynn Woodward, Candy and Holly Cripps.Her Father William T. Holmes, Step Father Clair M "Nick" Nicholson and son David Joseph Cripps, preceded her in death. A memorial service celebrating Connie's life will be held at the LDS Ammon 11th Ward chapel located at 1100 Tiebreaker Street in Ammon Idaho. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Perpetual Education Fund at any LDS Chapel. We would like to give special thanks to the home health care workers of QualiCare for the loving and compassionate care that both she and Boyd received over the last several years.
