Cora Lilly Howerton, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

Cora was born on April 24, 1969, in El Paso, Texas, to John Charles Howerton Sr. and Raquel Rodriguez-Ramirez Howerton. She grew up in Northern and Southern Idaho. She was a member of the Christian church. She enjoyed drawing in her younger years. When she wasn’t suffering from mental illness, she was really animated, loving, and sweet. She loved Jesus and her family.

She is survived by her mother, Raquel Howerton of El Paso, Texas; her sister, Hope (Aaron) Atkinson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and her brother, Leo (Brenda) Howerton of El Paso, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, John Howerton Sr.
