IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Danna Rae
Fluke
May 16, 1931 – December 30, 2015
She moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, with her family while still in grade school and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
During the Korean Conflict, she married Donald V. Fluke on September 7, 1951, in San Francisco in a military chapel located on the Presidio 6th Army Command Center. Don was serving in the United States Army and Danna worked at Mountain Bell Telephone Company (Ma Bell) as a switchboard operator.
Following his military service, Don and Danna moved to Idaho Falls in 1954 and started their family.
Danna enjoyed quilting with her sisters, creating amateur architect house plans, relished a great detective "who-done it" novel when time allowed, cooking and camping with her family. She encouraged her children to learn and explored many crafting hobbies. Danna was always a wonderful listener to everyone that knew her very well. Danna spent much time with her grandchildren and continued to instill her love for crafting and creating interests within them.
She taught Sunday school classes at the Assembly of God church and enjoyed attending church services and activities that glorified her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Many remember her for her outstanding pot-luck dishes brought to church picnics and activities.
She leaves behind her husband, Donald V. Fluke of Idaho Falls; her sister, Ann Leigh (Martin) Littleton; two sons: Steven A. Fluke of Idaho Falls and Ray A. Fluke of Colorado Springs; two daughters: Linda M. Fluke of Rustic, Colorado and Esther F. (Fluke) Schell of Idaho Falls; six grandchildren: Jenny Fluke, Matthew Fluke, Jonnie (Fluke) Willsey, Pauline Schell (Ryen) Smith, Hailey Schell, Telson Barth; and two great grandchildren, Ruger and Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Bea Leigh Fowler, Jean Leigh Hooper, and Alta Leigh Fluke and one son, David Charles Fluke.
