DAVID GODINEZ GUILLEN, de 58 años, falleció el domingo 29 de noviembre de 2020 después de una dura batalla con Covid-19.

David nació en México de Ofelia Guillén Pérez y Gabriel Godínez López. Vivió allí hasta los 16 años en que momento el se mudó a California, donde pasó gran parte de su vida. Aquí tenía a su hijo, David y sus dos hijas Daisy y Gladys. Luego conoció a Magdalena, tuvo dos hijastros, Antonio y Juan, y tuvo otra hija, Paloma. Pronto decidieron mudarse a Idaho Falls y crearon un hogar, donde pasaría sus últimos 18 años.

David era conocido por ser trabajador, de voluntad fuerte y alguien que nunca se rindió. Disfrutaba trabajando en su casa y arreglando cosas. Disfrutó campar y ver películas de accion. Era feliz, amistoso y amado por todos los que tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerlo. Amaba a su familia y era un abuelo maravilloso. Le sobreviven su padre, 6 hermanos Uriel, Gabriel, Jose, Elvia, Lourdes, Ana Lilia, sus 6 hijos y 6 nietos. David fue precedido en la muerte por su madre, Ofelia, y su hermano más joven Gilberto.Los servicios familiares privados se llevarán a cabo en una fecha posterior.

DAVID GODINEZ GUILLEN, 58, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, after a hard battle with Covid-19.

David was born in Mexico to Ofelia Guillen Perez and Gabriel Godinez Lopez. He lived there until he was 16 at which time he moved to California where he spent a large portion of his life. Here he had his son, David, and his two daughters: Daisy and Gladys. Later, he met Magdalena, gained two stepsons: Antonio and Juan, and had another daughter, Paloma. They soon decided to move to Idaho Falls and created a home, where he would spend his last 18 years.

David was known as being hard-working, strong-willed, and someone who never gave up. He enjoyed working on his home and fixing things. He loved camping and watching action films. He was happy and friendly and loved by all who got a chance to know him. He loved his family and was a wonderful grandpa. He is survived by his father; 6 siblings: Uriel, Gabriel, Jose, Elvia, Lourdes, and Ana Lilia: his 6 children; and 6 grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his mother, Ofelia; and his younger brother, Gilberto.
