Obituary

David Paul Judy our beloved "Skeeter" returned to the arms of his Heavenly Father on January 2, 2022, after his sudden death at his home.

David was born David Paul Boyer Jr. to his loving mother, Sandra Louise Wells, on July 29, 1983, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  In 1986, Sandy remarried, and David was blessed with the man he had the honor to call his father, Dell Mitchell Judy, who later adopted him and gave him the name, David Paul Judy, which David wore proudly.  Dell later married Tristin Judy who also got the honor to be David's mother.  He was loved by both of his mothers very much and was so grateful for them.

As a child, David was described as rambunctious, spirited, and friendly.  Always trying to make new friends, usually always in some sort of mischief and full of adventure.

On April 2, 2005, David married Hollie Diane MacDonald and from that union came 2 sons: Lance Mitchell Judy (16) and Gavin Maerik Judy (15). They were later divorced. In 2013, he was blessed with his youngest son, Paul Judy (8) from a separate relationship.   All 3 children reside in Oregon with their mothers.

On July 3, 2020, after a whirlwind courtship David married the love of his life, Karen Schwab Judy, and with this union came 3 more stepsons: Cody James Keller (16), Garrett Jay Keller (13), and Brody Jeffrey Farber (3).  All 6 of his boys were the light of his life and he cherished every moment with them.

David made his career as a welder and an iron worker until very recently when he decided to switch to his dream job as a heavy diesel mechanic which he was about to start college.

There is no place David would rather be than anywhere outside.  He spent much of his summers in Bone, ID at his family's property camping, swimming, dirt biking, and finding any trouble he could. His 2 passions were bull riding and Dallas Cowboys football.  David was a cowboy through and through.  Tough as nails and 100% country.  He loved God, he loved his country, and he loved his freedom.

David had a gentle soul with a big heart. He would extend his hand to anyone in need and absolutely loved people.  If you were his friend, you were his friend for life. He had a big personality, a rowdy spirit, and never took life too seriously.  You could not be around David and not have a smile on your face or a good laugh.  He was a champion prankster and always had a trick up his sleeve and a firecracker or two in his pocket.

David will be sorely missed by the army of family and friends that loved him.  We take comfort in knowing that David stands in the presence of his Savior Jesus Christ whole and at peace.

"Good Ride Cowboy...Good Ride"
