David R. LeCheminant (Rocky), 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2022, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.

David was born August 1, 1955, in Idaho Falls to Jack Calvin LeCheminant and Dawna Dayton LeCheminant. He was the eighth child of ten children. He grew up in St. Anthony and graduated from South Fremont High School, he joined the National Guard right after graduation. David attended Idaho State University and earned his associate degree and worked as a Design Draftsman.

On August 6, 1982, he married RaNae Hoopes in Burton, Idaho and they have been together for 39 intriguing years.

David was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will be remembered for his irrefutable faith, he would share his testimony with all who would listen. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, camp, and hunt. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

He had five sons from two marriages whom he was extremely proud of and loved immensely. He was honored to be the papa of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Carl and Darwin LeCheminant; and a baby sister, Martha Ann Lecheminant.
