Obituary

David H. Park, 55, of Garden City, Idaho, died June 21, 2009, at his home.

He was born January 20, 1954, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to David Harvey Park and Vera Evelyn Roe. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Skyline High School. He attended Brunswick bowling equipment technical schools.

He lived in Idaho Falls and Garden City, Idaho. He worked for Pro Ida and Rainbow Painting, traveling around the country painting water towers. He started his own business, DP Painting, worked as a maintenance technician for Plaza Bowl, Bowl-ero Lanes, and at the time of his death, Emerald Lanes in Boise.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was a huge collector of baseball cards and comic books. His great love was bowling, of which he was currently involved in bowling league activities in Boise.

He was deeply loved by all his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew him loved him and appreciated him for his love and compassion. When his father became too ill to work, David took over his job to keep the family going and then when his mother became ill, he gave loving care to her until her death.

Survivors include: sister, Naomi (Lee) Mangum of Pocatello, Idaho; sister, Diana (Roy) Gibson of Rigby, Idaho; and a brother, Harold (Sonya) Park of Ucon, Idaho.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred Siegfried, and a sister, Pamela Siegfried. Funeral

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Idaho Youth Ranch, 478 Shoup Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83402.
