Delbert Leroy Colby, 54, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 17, 2012, at his home. He was born April 28, 1957, in Idaho Falls, to Isaac Ransford Colby and Norma Jean Hines Colby. He grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1975. Delbert worked at King B Jerky for 20 years prior to being disabled. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a heart of gold and he was there for everyone. He is survived by his siblings: Isaac Colby Jr. of Boise; Jerry Colby and Joyce Trejo both of Idaho Falls; and a nephew, Jacob Cruz Martinez of Boise, who Delbert raised. Delbert was preceded in death by both of his parents. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho.
