Delmar Charles "Doc" Holladay, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away from pancreatic cancer October 6, 2010, at the home of his friends, Vern and Linda Ford. He had been under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. He was born on August 26, 1935, in Afton, Wyoming, to Edgar Holladay and Goldie Reeves Holladay. Doc grew up in Palisades. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1953-1957. In 1977, Doc married Betty Godden in Idaho Falls. She passed away on Feb. 20, 1999. He was a roofer for 47 years working throughout southeastern Idaho. Doc enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing pool; there wasn't anyone in this country who could beat him in a game of pool. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents, Edgar Holladay and Goldie M. Ruud. At Doc's request, there will be no services held. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, Idaho.
