Dennis Edward Bitter, 58, of Idaho Falls, died February 1, 2018 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls of health complications.

He was born July 6, 1959 in Blackfoot, ID to Verl and Shirley Bitter. Dennis grew up in the Blackfoot area and then moved to Idaho Falls in 1973.

He worked in construction. He liked to go camping and fishing.

Dennis is survived by his two sons; Thomas Bitter and Ty Bitter; siblings, David Bitter (Marcy), Angie Crawford (Jim) and Dian Shawver; nephews, Derek Bitter, Dustin Bitter, Michael Wilson, Daniel Wilson, and Lucas Wilson; and a niece, Darady Bitter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Verl and Shirley Bitter; an uncle, Glen L. Bitter; and a niece, Christin Camille Shawver.
