DeOn Larsen Campbell, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at her home. She was under the care of Enhabit Hospice.

DeOn was born on August 17, 1933, along with her twin brother, Dean Leroy Larsen, to Alden George Larsen and Irma Green Larsen in Annis, Idaho. She nearly died at birth but proved she was a fighter. She grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1951.

On July 20, 1951, she married Derlin Leeon Campbell in Idaho Falls. They were married for almost 67 years and were joined by four children to create their family. Derlin sadly passed away on May 17, 2018. They made their homes in Twin Falls, Salt Lake City, Ammon, Rexburg, and finally Idaho Falls. She worked for KTEE Radio and HK Contractors in Idaho Falls.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, beaded calendars, knitting, and crocheting.

DeOn is survived by her daughter, Lanette (Ray) Blevins of Springfield, Missouri; her sons: Leeon Campbell of Idaho Falls, Kurt (Shelly) Campbell of Spokane, Washington, and Vance (Marcene) Campbell of South Jordan, Utah; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Derlin L. Campbell; her parents, Alden and Irma Larsen; her brothers: Leo, Oscar, and Dean; and her sister, Lila.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the St. Leon Ward, 6925 N. 15th E., Idaho Falls. A visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
