Destry Gary Hunting, 36, of Idaho Falls, died Thursday, April 06, 2017.

Destry was born on August 22, 1980, in Afton, Wyoming, to David John Hunting and Julia LuAnn Rundle. Destry shared his birthday with his Grandpa Hunting, they would always share a cup of coffee on that day. Even after Grandpa passed away in 2008, he would always have a cup in his honor.

On June 6, 2003, he married the love of his life Teresa Balls, in Idaho Falls where they made their home.

Destry grew up helping his dad, Dave, in the shop fixing everything he could. He also loved racing snowmobiles in the RMXCRC circuit, playing his bass guitar, brewing his own beer and being a beer judge for the National Beer Judge Association. Above all else, Destry loved to go duck hunting with his son, David. Having long conversations with his daughter, Destinie, and going fishing with his Grandpa Rundle.

He enjoyed working as a maintenance manager for Apple Athletic Club, and spending time with his co-workers.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Teresa Hunting; their children: Destinie and David Hunting, all of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Teresa's children: Michael Dees, of Mesa, Arizona and Brandon Dees, of Scappoose, Oregon; his father, Dave (Anya) Hunting, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his brother, Damien (Nancy) Hunting, of Eagle River, Alaska; his sisters: Andrea (BJ) Ljungquist, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Melody (Nick) Jenson, of Rigby, Idaho; his Grandparents, Jim (Kathleen) Rundle, of Firth, Idaho; his Grandma Dixie Hunting, of Iona, Idaho; 6 nieces, 5 nephews, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Rundle Hendrix and his Grandpa Dean Hunting.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends and family from 11:30-1:00 p.m., prior to the services. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.coltrinmortuary.com .
