IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Devin Jan
Sibbett
March 27, 1985 – May 14, 2023
What a precious soul! Devin Jan Sibbett was born on March 27, 1985, to his loving parents Jan and Annette Sibbett as the second of five children. Devin was a little spitfire and from the time he started walking, he kept everyone on their toes.
In his youth, Devin played sports and was on a little league baseball team with his dad as his coach and biggest fan. He attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated in 2003.
Devin enjoyed being a boy scout and through it discovered a passion for the outdoors. He spent as much time as he could being out in nature hunting, camping, hiking, longboarding, snowboarding, and especially fishing. His nephews have always made it their personal goal to try and out fish their Uncle Dev any chance they got but have yet to succeed.
Devin loved music and made a lot of memories with his family and friends attending concerts and music festivals.
Devin had many skills in building and creating. He always had a project in progress or in mind. He used these skills and his never-ending work ethic to find success in selling furniture, building houses, and running a printing press. Through all of his accomplishments, becoming a father was definitely his most cherished milestone. His 3 beautiful children meant the world to him, and his entire world revolved around them. He enjoyed taking them on his adventures and made unforgettable memories with them doing all the things he loved and taught them lifelong skills along the way.
Devin had the most amazing parents whose unconditional love was felt every day of his life. Because of their example, Devin had a heart of gold and loved everyone he met. It didn't matter your faults, he just cared about you as you were. He was always there for anyone, at any time, and happy to help you with any task. He shared his enormous heart with the world until there was nothing left to give as he passed away from heart failure on May 14, 2023.
Devin leaves behind his 3 precious angels: Karly, Keagan, and Teneil; parents: Annette and Jan; 2 sisters: TyLynn (Eric) and Kambree (Yonisio); 2 brothers: Chad (Tiffany) and Jaydin; Nieces and nephews: Paxin, Brylee, (twins) Kolton and Ryker, Nevaeh, Naleia, Treycin, Tayvius, Nariah, Emmett, Dulci, (twins) Kai and Desmond; along with many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and an enormous amount of friends. He was preceded in death by Grandparents: William Goelzer, Dorothy Jacob, and Duane and Donna Sibbett.
