Diane Demuth, 88, of Idaho Falls, peacefully passed away January 31, 2017, at MorningStar Assisted Living Center in Idaho Falls.  She was born March 6, 1928, in Los Angeles, California, to Julian and Gussie Sandidge.

In her childhood, she lived in Los Angeles where she met and married her childhood sweetheart (Orin) Jack Demuth.  They raised 2 daughters Lisa and Rita in Orangevale, California.  Later the family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Throughout her life, she had many accomplishments including oil painting, and playing and teaching piano/organ. She loved passing on to her students the joy of music.  Her favorite composer was Chopin.

Diane is survived by her loving husband Jack, her daughter Lisa (Philip) Lau of Idaho Falls, her 3 grandchildren: Tony (Jessica) Lau, Jaclyn (Greg) Holzmer, and Michael Lau; 6 great-grandchildren: Alexandra Lau, Elijah Lau, Emilia Lau, Ezra Lau, Nicholas Holzmer and Paige Holzmer.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Gussie Sandidge, her sister Suzy Heidler, her daughter and son-in-law Rita and James Yeiter.
