DiAnn Janet Muehlfeit was born March 11, 1950, in Rexburg, Idaho, to parents Elmo and Reva Coburn and passed away May 19, 2022, peacefully at home.

DiAnn attended elementary school in St. Anthony and Weiser, Idaho. The family moved to Idaho Falls where DiAnn attended and graduated from Bonneville High School, class of 1968. After graduation, she married Steve Haase. From this union, she had two daughters: Terri Harvey and Tracy Ganieany. She lived and worked in Salt Lake City, Utah where she was hired by Utah Power and Light. She remained with them until her retirement in 2010.

She ran into Lynn Muehlfeit, a high school classmate when he threw her out in a softball game. They dated and married on August 8, 1988. DiAnn volunteered at the Idaho Falls Zoo where her love for animals, mostly penguins, was fulfilled. She spent most of her time with her beloved Cockatiel Charlie. She did get to go to Africa, which was on her bucket list. She and Lynn went on several motorcycle vacations through the years also. She loved seeing her grandkids and watching them grow. She loved going to the Western Idaho Fair with Autumn, her granddaughter, and fishing with Lucas, her grandson.

She is survived by her husband Lynn Muehlfeit; brothers: Dennis (Diane) Coburn, Steve (Laurel) Coburn, and Jerry Coburn; Her sister Jean (Kent) Green; daughters: Terri Harvey and Tracy Ganieany; grandchildren: Autumn Harvey and Lucas Ganieany; her many nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion Charlie (the Bird).

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Teton-Newdale Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2022, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls, Idaho.
