Obituary

Unto the Lord we give DonnaJean (Greenman) Watson, to meet her husband, Donald D. whom passed only 5 months ago. DonnaJean 85, passed away peacefully at home early Friday, April 27th 2018. Donna Was born July 3rd 1932 to Wilbur and Irene Greenman, in her grandparents home in Blue Creek, Washington. Blue Creek is a small town that was  filled with multiple generations of family that her and her brother Johnny were raised around. She later gained 3 new step brothers and sister after her mother Irene married Marvin Winings.

She met the love of her life, Donald D. Watson and was married on March 8th 1951 and were later blessed with two children; David and DeeAnn. Soon Don's nickname for her, "Twig/Twiggy" started to stick. Since Twig married a construction man whose job needed them to travel with little notice,  she kept an organized, but very loving home. There was vivid memories from many of Twiggy's little body helping drive big trucks off to the next job.

Growing up in a small country town, and moving around the northwest, her love for the outdoors only grew stronger. She enjoyed adventure and always needed to see what was over the next hill. This trait of hers was contagious and it spread to many of us.

After Twig's children were grown and moved out, Don's job took them to Alaska where they shared many fond memories. Towards the later part of the 70's, they lived mainly in Washington except for a short time in Oregon. Retirement gave them the opportunity to relocate themselves to Idaho, where their daughter lived, and their son soon followed. She loved that her family was never more than a few hours away.

Twiggy and Don tried to spend their winters where it was warm. With these two, no fishing hole was left unfished. The word of Twiggy's talent for fishing quickly got around and it was not uncommon for someone to ask what she used as bait….this was a secret she rarely shared.

In these last years, the majority of her family all lived in the same city of Idaho Falls. This allowed for many camping trips involving; her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, even a great great grandchild was able to join.

She loved her family, and can compare her to a hummingbird, who flutters from member to member making sure they are all taken care of. She most enjoyed hearing about everyone's day. No matter how big or small. She would sit and tickle your arm while telling you how wonderful it all is and how you can do anything.

DonnaJean was survived by her son David (Diane) Watson, her daughter Dee (Brent) Rausch; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and one more on the way.
