Doris Lynn Gutierrez, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Doris was born on May 13, 1965, to Thomas Stalnaker and Herlinda Delgado Stalnaker in Orofino, Idaho. She grew up in Orofino and Shelley. She graduated from Shelley High School in 1983.

On March 30, 1996, she married Jose Armando Gutierrez-Rea in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in Mexico and Idaho.

Doris was a member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping, gambling, cooking, watching baseball and football. She loved her soap operas and never missed an episode of her favorite, novelas.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Armando Gutierrez-Rea of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her daughter, Faviola Stalnaker of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her goddaughter, Yesenia Velasco of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and her father, Thomas Stalnaker of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Herlinda Stalnaker.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
