Obituary

Earl Henry Park, 88, of Idaho Falls, died December 14, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born Feb. 15, 1919, in Sugar City, Idaho, to Andrew Elroy Park and Myrtle Agnes Bird Park. He grew up and attended schools in Sugar City. On July 24, 1943, he married Rene Madeline Wilson Park in Rexburg, Idaho. He lived in Idaho Falls most of his life, working various jobs including farm hand, truck driver, and employ at the sugar factory in Idaho Falls for over 45 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed cooking, listening to country music, building houses with his wife, Rene, fishing, hunting, and working on his wood lathe making beds and lamps for his family and friends. If asked, Earl's favorite time was spent with his family and friends. His tender heart and giving nature were cherished. His warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. Survivors include his children, Donna (husband, Dwight) Linger of Rigby, JoAnn (husband, Kurt) Howard of Shelley, Judy Park of Idaho Falls; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew, his mother, Myrtle, his wife, Rene; his daughters Lawanna Park, Carol Radford, and Diana Park; sisters: Lucelle Daniels and Ila May Anderson; and brothers: Frank, Jack, and Dwain Park. His son, Cliff, passed away the same day Earl died. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls with Bishop Todd Johnson officiating. The family will meet with friends for an hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be at the Milo Cemetery
