Eileen Ellen Marshall, 85, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away at Gables of Ammon on June 20, 2015. She had been under the care of Encompass Home Health and Hospice. She was born October 11, 1929, in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of Walter A. Hines and Martha Olive Carringer Hines. She attended high school in Fairfield, Idaho, and graduated in 1947. Eileen married Harvey Marshall. Harvey was in the Air Force so they traveled all over the United States and throughout the world. They were blessed with four children: Tonia, John, Annetta, Tina, and later a son, Wayne was adopted. She lived in Boise, Japan, Maine, Arizona, California, and Washington before moving to Rigby. She resided there until she could not live by herself and in 2012 she moved to the Gables of Ammon. Eileen had many interest s including horseback riding, camping, quilting, crocheting and crafts in general. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, Parents w/o Partners, Quilting Guild in Rigby and the Vanderburg Saddle Club. According to her children, "Mom was always happy and had an infectious laugh." She is survived by sons: Wayne (Nancy) Marshall of Lockhart, Texas, and John Marshall of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters: Annetta (Keith) Marhsall-Slaten of Bandera, Texas, and Tina (Chuck) Thomas of Barstow, California; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Hines and her mother, Martha Ford; 2 daughters, Susan and Tonia; and her husband, Harvey Marshall. Private family services will be held.
