March 25, 1945 – October 13, 2007
She was born March 25, 1945, in Blackfoot, Idaho the daughter of Robert Shore and Lydia Allen Shore. She grew up in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1964. She later moved to Salmon. In October 1969, she married John Belnap and they were later divorced. On April 2, 1985, she married Loyd Max Ritchie in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Following her married to Lloyd, she moved to Idaho Falls and Ammon.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She taught primary and served as a nursery teacher.
She volunteered at the Museum of Idaho two days a week until her health would no longer allow her to continue volunteering.
She enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching; she loved being in the outdoors, camping, and being with children especially her nieces and nephews.
Eileen was a sweet, loving, lady who will be deeply missed.
She is survived by the following husband, Loyd Max Ritchie of Ammon brother-in-law, Gene Ritchie of Idaho Falls sister-in-law Junetta (Ken) Hale, Idaho Falls sister-in-law Susan Vineyard, Eden, Idaho
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Ann Belnap; her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held October 20, 2007, at 2:00 P.M., at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St.with Bishop Jim Flamm officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, October 19th, 2007, from 7-8:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
