Elaine Judy, 77, of Idaho Falls, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Parkwood Meadows. She was under the care of One Source Hospice.

Elaine was born December 12, 1939 in Broadway, North Carolina at home, the first of 5 children, to Leon, and Bessie Pace.

She grew up and attended schools in North Carolina.

She earned her Associate's degree in floral design from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA.

On August 5, 1955 Elaine married Wyndell Banister in Chesterfield, South Carolina. They were later divorced. She married Robert O. Judy on November 15, 1974 in Elko, NV. He passed away in 2003.

Elaine lived in North Carolina, Southern California, Washington, Nevada, and for 45 years in Idaho.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was a military wife, and a florist who enjoyed fishing, hunting, knives, floral design, gardening, romance novels, and pets. Her final companion was "Tuffy". She was a beautiful Southern Belle with western iron.

Elaine is survived by her children; daughter, Maydeana Pattison, of Seabeck, WA; son, Matthew Banister of Blackfoot, ID; daughter, Suzie Waters of Yuma, AZ; daughter, Connie Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; step-son, Cody Robert Judy of Ogden, UT; step-daughter, Shannon Paskett of Mantua, UT; and daughter Kimberly Judy of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, May Walker of Eugene, OR, and Deana "Dee" Melton of Yuma, AZ; brothers, "Thelbert" Leon Pace of Junction City, OR, and Charles Pace of Eugene, OR; 12 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
