IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eldon E.
Risenmay
January 21, 1924 – October 7, 2006
He served in The Phillipine Islands during World War II in the Army, and was wounded in the shoulder.
He married Velma Rose Gray on January 16, 1946, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple and began their life together farming.
He farmed for many years in Woodville and finished his career in Osgood farming with his sons. In 1987, he retired to his home in Idaho Falls.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings in his wards. In 1986, he and Velma served a mission in San Diego, California.
He served for 9 years on the Shelley school board, presiding for the last three years as the chairman of the board.
Eldon loved to read history, farm, work in his garden and raise cows, but his true devotion was to his wife and his family; he was meek and patient and he touched the lives of those around him for good.
