She was born March 18, 1920 at her parent's home in Filer, Idaho to Joseph and Mabel Swift Shouse. She grew up and attended schools in Filer.

On June 24, 1938 she married Harold Hunt Stiles in Idaho Falls. They lived in Twin Falls; Kennewick, WA; Idaho Falls; Payette; Boise; and Caldwell, ID.

She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, playing Scrabble and taking great care of her family. Our mother was the perfect embodiment of the word Mom; she sacrificed a great deal for us; worked hard her entire life and loved each of us very much.

Elizabeth is survived by her son Harold Lee Stiles (Valentina) of Caldwell, ID; 2 daughters, Linda Lee Moore (Tom) of Idaho Falls, ID, and Deanna Ruth Jarvis of Caldwell, ID; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Stiles, and her brothers Robert, Walter, Thomas, and Frayne.
