She was born April 21, 1919, in Tacoma, Washington, to Orson Williams and Effie McKenzie Williams. She grew up in Swan Lake, Idaho, and attended schools in the area.

She lived in Tacoma, Washington; Swan Lake, Downey, Preston, and for the majority of her life, she has lived in Idaho Falls.

In Idaho Falls, she worked for White Star Laundry, Idaho Falls Credit Union, Roger Brothers, and for Social Security Administration.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She enjoyed auctions, playing Bingo, doing crafts, and going to the Senior Citizens Center. There was not an auction she would turn down.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Martha and Georgia.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2006, at the Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls.
