In the early morning hour of December 31, 2016, we lost our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Elmoyne Lorraine Bailey, 86, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away with her husband by her side.
She was born July 21, 1930, at Tetonia, Idaho, to Arnold M. Woolf and Emma Jorgensen Woolf. Elmoyne grew up and went to school in Teton, and in Idaho Falls, she attended Eastside Elementary, O. E. Bell Jr. High and Central High School. She received her G.E.D. from Bonneville High School.
On September 28, 1946, Elmoyne married Orland Bailey. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on October 18, 1950. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Elmoyne was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and one of her callings which she loved, was going to girl's camp at Darby.
She loved giving readings all over Southeast Idaho, was an Avon Representative for 9 years, and had many friends that loved her. She helped take care of the Ammon West Stake House for 6 years. She was also a demo representative for various companies.
Elmoyne is survived by her husband, Orland Bailey; children: Toni (Rick) Hier of San Diego, California; Kevin (Linda) Bailey of Pocatello, and Robert (Tammy) Bailey of Idaho Falls; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved and was so proud of. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: DeWayne, Darwin and Arland Woolf.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Teton Hospice as well as their friends and neighbors who unselfishly and willingly gave of their time to care of Elmoyne and Orland.
