IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Flora Marie
Jorgensen
May 18, 1943 – September 10, 2016
Called home to our loving Heavenly Father on September 10, 2016, Flora Marie Jorgensen, 73, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away.
Flora was born to Florence Mae King and JP "Jiggs" Holverson in Idaho Falls, ID on May 18, 1943. Flora was the second daughter born just minutes after her twin sister and best friend, Fern Holverson Stockton, and the sister to 6 brothers.
She was raised in Idaho Falls at 1085 Bear Ave. Flora learned to cook by watching her mom and grandmother cook. She was well known for her amazing and famous homemade bread with cooking skills she happily shared feeding many over the years. She spent years working in restaurants around town and of course in her home. She passed this trait to all of her children who could cook full meals at young ages.
Flora met and married the love of her life, her eternal love and companion, Johnny Kay Jorgensen. They were married August 5, 1960. They lived most of their married life in Idaho Falls. In 1968, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple while living in that area for a few years of their life.
She was never happier than when she was surrounded by her family who were everything to her. She loved spending time with everyone and now she will be able to watch over them from heaven.
She is survived by her children: Marvin (Cindy) Jorgensen of Fairbanks, AK; Brian (Kathy) Jorgensen of Idaho Falls, ID; Andrea Luehrs of Sacramento, CA; Karen (Walter) Boyd of Seattle, WA; Susan Jorgensen of Salt Lake City, UT; Jason (Nichole) Jorgensen of Hermiston, OR; and Felicia (Tim) Wallace of Fairbanks, AK; brothers: Virgil (Sue) Holverson, Terry (Maggie) Holverson, and her sister, Fern (Dyer) Stockton all of Idaho Falls, ID; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Don Holverson, June Holverson, Ruben Holverson and Bert Holverson; a daughter, Constance Jorgensen, and her loving husband, Johnny Kay Jorgensen.
