She was born June 11, 1928, in Preston, Idaho, to Adrian Solomon and Kathryn Marie McDermott Campbell. She grew up and attended schools in Preston, Pocatello and Idaho Falls. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1947.

She married Alvin Edwards in Idaho Falls on May 25, 1947.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, including the Friend-to-Friend program and as a primary teacher for over 15 years.

She was involved in PTA and the Cub Scout program. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, camping and photography.

To know her is to love her.

She is survived by the following: spouse, Alvin Edwards of Idaho Falls daughter, Connie Lou Edwards McKenzie of Idaho Falls son, Orvid Kay (Verneta) Edwards, of Iona daughter, Sharon Edwards Rudd of Salt Lake City, Utah daughter, Barbra Jo Edwards (Larry) Eggett, of Riverton, Utah sister, Donna Anderson of Idaho Falls 13 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Thelma Campbell, a brother, Orvid Campbell, a grandson, Blake Eggett, and two sons-in-law, Delwin McKenzie and Paul Rudd.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at the Lincoln LDS 1st Ward, 3700 E. Lincoln Road, with Bishop Chris Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m., before the services at the church. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary.
