Forest "Frosty" Robert Bartlett, 63, of Idaho Falls, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born May 19, 1947, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to John W. Bartlett and Dorothy Lucille McGlochlin Bartlett. He grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1966. Frosty served with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He married Susan Ison and they were later divorced. He married Becky Baler and they were later divorced. On Sept. 12, 2000, he married Pamela M. Reilly in Idaho Falls. He worked for Commons Poultry, Lucky McCarley Crop Dusting, Floyd Hahn Crop Dusting, the Department of Agriculture as a potato inspector, Burns Brothers Concrete, a co-owner of Pinecrest Diner and a self-employed concrete finisher. Frosty enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock hounding, taxidermy, 4-wheeling, backyard barbeques with family and friends, watching his grandson's football games and granddaughter's dance recitals. He is survived by the following: wife, Pamela Bartlett of Idaho Falls; sons: Forest (Shellie) Bartlett of Menan; Blake (Ronna) Bartlett of St. Anthony; a daughter, Jennifer Cazares of Idaho Falls; a brother, John W. (Vickie) Bartlett III of Meridian, Idaho; sisters: Gayle (Norris) Ashment and Sharon (John) Nicklas both of Idaho Falls; step-sons: Sam (Missy) Gernhart of Powell, Wyoming; Stacey (Melinda) Murdock of Beaverton, Oregon; and Kelly Murdock of Idaho Falls; a step-daughter, Jackie (Neal) Barg of Rigby; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Blaine Bartlett. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. Military rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans team and the Idaho Honor Guard. The family will visit with friends Sunday evening, October 31, 2010, from 7-9:00 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary and Monday one hour prior to the services.
