Frances Florence Gallegos, 93, of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at her home. She was under the care of One Source Hospice.

Frances was born on October 4, 1930, to Jose Apoinario Gallegos and Romancito Romero Gallegos in Center, Colorado. She grew up in Colorado and New Mexico. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Frances was involved in Alcoholics Anonymous as a counselor. She enjoyed collecting antiques. She was a strong independent woman who loved her boys: Eddie and Bobby Armijo.

She is survived by her partner, David Martinez; her sons: Edward Armijo of Centerville, Georgia, and Robert Armijo of Puyallup, Washington; her granddaughters: Christina Voigt, Angelina Armijo, and Patricia Armijo all of Warner Robins, Georgia, Elizabeth Maestas of Dallas, Texas, and Deborah Moore of Tacoma, Washington; her grandson, Edward Armijo of Puyallup, Washington; her brother, Robert N. (Carmel) Gallegos of Sparks, Nevada; her nieces: Kathy (Rick) Rhinenart of Tucson, Arizona, Anita Gallegos of Reno, Nevada, and Susan (Alan) Gilly of Fairbanks, Alaska; her nephews: Rob (Darcy) Gallegos of Carson City, Nevada, Jim (Sandy) Gallegos of Carson City, Nevada, Joe (Julie) Gallegos of Sparks, Nevada, and John (Gia) Gallegos of Dallas, Texas; and Thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Apoinario and Romancito Romano Gallegos.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 8:15 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2023, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 905 South Lee, Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2023, with a visitation after the Rosary until 9:00 p.m., at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
