Frances Anne Montgomery, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away in a fatal pedestrian accident on Saturday September 15, 2012, just North of Firth, Idaho, along HWY 91. She had to be air lifted to EIRMC and later died from her injuries. Frances was born January 7, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Teddy Ray and Arlene Hoopes. She was raised in Osgood and lived the majority of her life in Idaho Falls. She is a graduate from Skyline High School. She married Raymond Montgomery in 1972. They later divorced. She worked at Cedric's Restaurant for many years, where she touched so many lives. She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, being outdoors, reading and her spontaneous road trips. She is survived by her children: Kaylene (Robert) Barcelou, Cheryl (Gene Taylor) Montgomery, Ruby (Lance) Mecham, Brian (Laurellee) Montgomery; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; Sisters: Brenda (Jack) Shipley, Mary (Lyle) Wolf, Pearl Murray, Delta Montgomery-Perez and a brother, Mark (Karen) Hoopes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin granddaughters (Francisca and Keyma), and a nephew, John Hoopes. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday the 21st of September at the LDS South Stake Center, 2051 S. Emerson Ave., Idaho Falls, ID with Bishop Dale Peterson officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations at East Idaho Credit Union under the "Frances Montgomery Memorial in care of Laurellee Montgomery."
