Frances Agartha Crawforth Tremayne, 90, passed away at her home January 14, 2018 in the care of Avalon Hospice and surrounded by family members.  Frances was born August 15, 1927 at Paul, Idaho.  She was the oldest of four children born to Stanley A. Crawforth and Thelma M. Anderson Crawforth.

She grew up on the family farm west of Paul, Idaho and graduated from Rupert High School.

She met Leland E. Tremayne at the Y-Dell bowling/entertainment center in Burley, Idaho after Leland returned from Naval service in World War II.  Frances and Leland were married at her parents' home August 24, 1947 and the marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS Temple August 28, 1960.

Leland graduated from Albion, Idaho Normal College in 1949 and he began a teaching career at Osgood, Idaho.  In 1954 they moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where Leland taught school at O.E. Bell Jr. High School until he retired in 1982.  Frances had a babysitting service in their home for several years then was a receptionist for James Infelt at the Idaho Falls YMCA.  In 1962 Frances became a receptionist for Dr. Warren Sutton and an ER receptionist at Riverview Hospital until her retirement in 1990.

From their marriage Frances and Leland had three children (Dennis, Steven and Geneal).  The children have added eleven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and seven step-great grandchildren to the family.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, her father and mother, her two brothers (Gary & Farrell) and sister (Geneal), two grandsons (Steven & Trevor) and a great granddaughter (Shelby).

Frances will always be remembered for her willingness to help and care for others before herself.

Funeral services under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary will be held at 11:00 am Saturday January 20th at the LDS 31st Ward, 1165 Azalea, Idaho Falls, Idaho with Bishop James Neeley officiating.  Prior to the services the family will visit with friends from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.  Interment will be in the family plot at the Paul, Idaho Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Frances' name to Avalon Home Health and Hospice, Bucket Wishes Foundation 3767 Professional Way Idaho Falls, ID 83404, or online at http://avalonhhh.com/bucket-wishes/ .  Condolences may be sent online at www.coltrinmortuary.com .
