Gary Olin Crumley, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away on December 28, 2023, from a brain tumor. He was under the care of OneSource Hospice.

Gary was born August 13, 1952, in Idaho Falls, to Victor Olin Crumley and Bonnie Marie VanDorn Crumley. He grew up in Idaho Falls in the York Area, south of Idaho Falls, on the family farm.

Gary attended Skyline High School and graduated in 1970.

On May 13, 1974, Gary married LaDawn Bybee, in Idaho Falls.

Gary lived on a farm south of Idaho Falls and farmed and ranched all his life. He loved farming and ranching and enjoyed being outdoors with the animals and raising hay, grain, sheep, and cattle.

Gary was a nondenominational Christian.

He was President of the Bonneville County Woolgrowers for many years and was also a member of the Bonneville County Cattlemen.

Gary loved being outdoors, raising his livestock (cattle and sheep), fishing, hunting, baseball, camping, and visiting mountain lakes on a 4-wheeler.

Gary is survived by his wife, LaDawn Crumley, of Idaho Falls; son, Brent Crumley, of Boise; daughter, Jolene (fiancée, Tim Lockner) Crumley, of Boise; grandson, Casey Crumley, of Boise; brothers: Clint (Shelley) Crumley of Idaho Falls, Randy (Linda) of Idaho Falls, and Steve Crumley of Idaho Falls. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Bonnie Crumley.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
