Georgia Cook, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, at her home from cancer. She was under the care of One Source Hospice.

She was born May 13, 1949, in Vernal, Utah, the daughter of George Steele and Rosetta Moore Steele. Because Georgia's father was involved in mining, the family moved around a lot and they lived in many places throughout Idaho. In 1965, she graduated from high school in Twin Falls.

She married Larry Kindred. They were later divorced. On May 13, 1980, she married Roger Neil Cook in Elko, Nevada. They were later divorced.

Besides living in Idaho, she lived in Nevada, Utah and Washington. She worked as a manual laborer in many different types of industry.

She was a member of the Church of the Truth. She also belonged to the Eagles Lodge and numerous pool leagues.

Georgia enjoyed pool, hunting and camping.

She is survived by the following: Sons: Kenneth Kindred of St. Petersburg, Florida; Tracy (Amy) Kindred of Tukwila, Washington; and Christopher (Tausha) Cook of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Tawnya (Brandon )Littlelight of Granite Falls, Washington; 7 grandchildren: Kayla Kindred of Seattle, Washington, Leah Kindred of San Diego, California; Jake Littlelight, Jesse Littlelight, and Cierra Littlelight all of Granite Falls, Washington; Kaija Cook and Kaysha Cook of Idaho Falls; ex-husband, Roger Cook of Idaho Falls; and 2 sisters: Debbie Kindred and Rose McBride both of Twin Falls, Idaho.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dean Steele.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., in Idaho Falls.
