Gerald Robert Gray, 74, Idaho Falls resident, passed away Nov. 2, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born January 22, 1938, in Albion, Idaho, to Robert Charles Gray and Freda Perrins Gray. He grew up in Blackfoot. In 1956, he graduated from Blackfoot High School. He served with the Idaho National Guard. On August 15, 1957, he married Joy Howell in Elko, Nevada. In Idaho Falls, he worked for Challenge and Cream O' Weber Dairy delivering milk and also worked for the Post Register. Gerald was a member of the Elks Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing Bingo. Gerald was a hard worker and loved his family very much. He is survived by the following: Wife, Joy Gray of Idaho Falls; daughter: Kelli (Rod) Hughes of Idaho Falls; sons: Kevin (Lori) Gray and Kent (Karen) Gray both of Blackfoot; a sister, Barbara (Dr. Albert Winkler, deceased) Winkler of Portland, Oregon;11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Novecek, 2 great-grandsons: Dylan Hughes and Trevor Peterson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls with Bishop Rod Hughes officiating. The family will meet with friends Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary and also an hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be at Fielding Memorial Park.
