Giovanni X-avier Sanchez, age 17 months, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at his home in his mother's arms. He was born on February 27, 2006 at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls to Cosme and Liliana Sanchez. He was the youngest of nine children.

He was born with a special condition called Menkes Syndrome which is due to a lack of copper in his body. To his grandparents Felipe and Lupe Cuellar he was an angel

He is survived by his loving parents Cosme and Liliana Sanchez of Idaho Falls; 8 brothers and sisters; his grandparents Felipe and Lupe Cuellar of Idaho Falls; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Rosary Service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2007 at Coltrin Mortuary with Deacon Wence Rodriquez officiating. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

Liliana would like to say thank you to all of her co-workers who helped her go through this situation, and who were her support network for the last year and a half. Thanks to Hospice, the staff at Idaho Falls Pediatrics, and all the nurses and doctors who cared for Giovanni. Thanks to the staff at Coltrin Mortuary who without them we could not afford the angel urn for him. The family would also like to thank all the people that Giovanni touched.
