Obituary

Gloria Ferrell Willmore Clark, 79, of Idaho Falls, died May 25, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Society-Idaho Falls Village of natural causes.

She was born January 5, 1930, in Idaho Falls, to Edgar Balfor Ferrell and Alta Theora Jordan Ferrell. She grew up in Idaho Falls and Milo. In 1947, she graduated from Ucon High School.

On Nov. 2, 1947, she married Ernest Eugene "Gene" Willmore in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on May 23, 1964. Gene passed away on August 22, 1978. Gloria worked at Roger Brothers, First Security Bank and the Bank of Commerce. On August 17, 1979, she married Wesley L. Clark, and a short time later she retired from the Bank of Commerce.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She and Wes served missions in Ghana, Africa, and Seattle, Washington.

She enjoyed music, gardening, movies, genealogy and traveling through all 50 states. For many years, she and Wes wintered in St. George.

Gloria was a charitable person and helped many people. She will be missed by her family and those who knew her.

She is survived by the following: daughters: Patricia Accardi of Warren, Rhode Island, and Cheryl (Rand) Douglass of Idaho Falls; son: Kendall (Lori) Willmore of Idaho Falls;step-daughters: Judy (Ken) Daines of Henderson,Nevada, and Becky (Reid) Mattingly of Salt Lake City, UT;10 grandchildren; 13 great-hrandchildren;16 step grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren and 1 step great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by both husbands and a brother, Leonard Warren Ferrell.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at the Idaho Falls LDS North Stake Center, 955 Memorial Drive with Bishop Greg Poulter of the Idaho Falls LDS 13th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls, and Friday at the church one hour prior to the services.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Society-Idaho Falls Village, 840 E. Elva, Idaho Falls, ID 83401.
