Gregory Keith Jensen, 60, of Idaho Falls, died January 2, 2010, at his home. He was born November 21, 1949, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Randall Keith Jensen and Lucille Geddes Jensen. Greg spent his early years in Lost River, Idaho, before moving to Idaho Falls as a child. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1968, and completed an automobile mechanic course at Western Technical College in Denver. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968, with his step-brother, Kim Conner. On March 27, 1970, he married Ellen Shirlene Johnson in Idaho Falls and they had one son, Ryan Keith Jensen . They later divorced. He married Heidi Cunningham in Jefferson County in 1992. They were later divorced. Following Greg's discharge from the Army, he joined the Idaho National Guard where he served until his retirement in 1996. After his retirement, he became a commercial truck driver until ill health forced him to retire from truck driving. He was very proud of going back to school as a "senior citizen" to earn his Associate of Applied Science degree in computer networking. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is survived by his son, Ryan Jensen of Idaho Falls; a sister, Deanne Harker of Seattle, Washington; a niece, Janel Gibb; 2 nephews, Jason and Justin Harker; aunts, Grace Jorgensen and Ora Marstella; an uncle, Irel Geddes and "dozens of cousins". He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will visit with friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2010, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls.
