Harold Eugene Good passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center on June 11, 2015, he was surrounded by his loving family. The oldest of five, Harold was born on June 24, 1933, to Thomas Edward Good and Pearl Evelyn Anderson in Blackfoot, Idaho. He resided in Idaho, Nevada, California, and Utah. He attended school at Moreland, Idaho and graduated from Blackfoot High School. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as a military policeman. During this time he served in the Korean War with his beloved dog, Asso. When his service in Korea was completed, he then served in Mountain Home, Idaho. Upon his honorable discharge, he became employed with the Department of Energy, formerly the INEEL, in Arco as a security guard. The bulk of his employment was spent in the Nevada Test Range for the Department of Energy and he retired from his position in 1988. He suffered from the crippling disease of Rheumatoid Arthritis and throughout his life, he never once complained of the pain and suffering he experienced. Because of his work ethic and the need to keeping mobile, he continued to work until six weeks before his death. In 1958 he met his love of his life, Beverly Marilyn Waters, they were engaged on their second date. They were married in Menan, Idaho on November 7, 1958, by Beverly's father. Harold and Beverly made their family eternal when they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on July 14, 1960. To this union six children were born. Sandra (Eric) Marshall of New Plymouth, Idaho, Brent (Angie) Good, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Brenda (Billy) Lushbaugh of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Gregory L. Good (deceased), Sonia Good, of Halstead, Kansas, and Wendi (Kent) Nelson of Nibly, Utah. He is survived by his eternal companion, Beverly Marilyn Water, his five children; 35 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Pearl Good, two brothers; Thomas and Daniel, and his 18 month old son, Gregory L. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2015, at Moreland Cemetery, Blackfoot, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015, and from 9:30-10:15 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2015, both at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
