Hazel Elizabeth Claver, 97, of Idaho Falls, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015, at Good Samaritan. Hazel was born on April 27, 1917, to Herbert and Elizabeth Hook, in Bellplain, Iowa. She had three sisters and one brother. Hazel graduated from High School in Bellplain in 1934. On August 4, 1937, she married James Albert Claver, her true love. In 1957 they moved to Idaho Falls. James died on September 12, 1990. Together they had two sons, James and Ed. Hazel decided to go to beauty school in her later years and opened her own shop, "Hazel's", in Idaho Falls. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling with her husband, and spending time with her family. She was always joyful and a friend to everyone she met. She always told you the truth and never sugar coated how she felt. She is survived by her sons; James Claver, of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Ed (Linnie) Claver, of Blackfoot, Idaho, seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Claver, her parents, three sisters and one brother. Graveside Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery, Idaho Falls.
