She was born July 4, 1977, in Groton, Connecticut, to Roger and Jill Hymas Wilbur.
She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Hawthorne and Linden Park Elementary Schools and Claire E. Gale Junior High School. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1995. After high school, she lived in Twin Falls and attended one year at the College of Southern Idaho. She then moved to Sherwood, Oregon in 1997, and returned to Idaho Falls in November, 2001.
On March 30, 2000, she married Jeffery Brickell in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. She enjoyed making scrapbooks with her children and gave many of them as gifts. She also loved playing Yahtzee with her sister and friends.
Heidi had a heart of gold, and was one of the most unassuming people you'd ever want to meet.
She is survived by the following: son, Drex Russell Wilbur of Lafayette, Oregon son, Carson Jeffery Brickell of Lafayette, Oregon father, Roger Forbes Wilbur of Idaho Falls mother, Jill Hymas Wilbur of Idaho Falls grandmother, Rachel Wilbur, Mattapoisett, Massachusetts brother, Clinton Jay Wilbur of Marion, Massachusetts brother, Kirk William Wilbur of Spokane, Washington sister, Kelli Anne Wilbur, Ramstein AFB, Germany
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Cecil Jay Hymas, grandmother, Sharon Molen Hymas, and grandfather, William Wilbur.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho, with Bishop Peter Demitropoulos officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Interment will take place at Fielding Memorial Park in Idaho Falls .
