Obituary

Henry "Hank" Walter Thomason, 88, of Idaho Falls, died June 23, 2006, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls of old age. He was born April 5, 1918 in Rattan, Oklahoma, to Earl Thomason and Nancy Corinne Hill Thomason. He grew up and attended school in Oklahoma. He graduated from Muskogee High School in 1936. He attended Oklahoma Southeastern Teachers' College.

On Oct. 3, 1941, he married Wanda Nadine Richards in Los Angeles, California. In Los Angeles, he worked for North American Rockwell Aerospace Division for 40 years before retiring and in 1979 he moved to Idaho Falls.

He was a member of the American Baptist Church where he was a Trustee and Moderator for 15 years.

In California, he was a member of Kiwanis and Rotary Club and in Idaho Falls he belonged to the Senior Men's Golf Association and the Senior Citizens Center.

He was an avid golfer, pool player, and woodworker.

He was a loving husband and father, a proud and inspirational grandfather to his two grandsons, Jackson D. and Tyson Henry Moll; Henry thoroughly enjoyed his life.

He is survived by the following: wife, Wanda Nadine Thomason of Idaho Falls, and a daughter, Elizabeth (Vincent) Moll of Tucson, Arizona.
