She was born August 25, 1930, in San Diego, Texas, to Guillermo and Virginia Delgado. She grew up in San Diego and Corpus Christi, Texas. In 1948, she graduated from San Diego High School. After high school, she attended nurses training in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She married Humberto Trevino, and they were later divorced. On June 15, 1963, she married Thomas L. Stalnaker in Reno, Nevada.
She lived in San Diego, Texas, and Orofino, Grangeville, and Shelley, Idaho. She was employed as a nurse in Orofino, Grangeville and in Idaho Falls at River View and Parkview Hospitals.
She was a member of the Catholic Church.
She was very active in the Hispanic community and volunteered wherever she was needed in translating. She was a fan of the Idaho Falls Chuckars baseball team and other farm teams, and she loved watching baseball and football on T.V., and her granddaughter, Faviola, BMX ride. She also enjoyed planting roses in her rose garden.
Linda was loved by all who knew her and would have given the shirt off her back for anyone, anytime or anyplace.
She is survived by the following:

sister, Maria (Orville) Mall, of Seattle, Washington
brother, Guillermo (Lydia) Delgado, of Texas
sister, Teresa (Bud) Salyers, of Corpus Christi, Texas
sister, Delia (Leo) Haley, of Texas
1 grandchild
She is preceded in death by and infant son, her parents, brothers Jose Delgado, Candelario Delgado and Castulo Delgado, and sisters Virginia Cantu, and Concha Garcia.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2007, at Christ the King Catholic Church, corner of 17th street and Woodruff, with Father McDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests monetary donations can be given at the memorial service.
