Ila Donette "Donnie" Clark, 71, of Swan Valley, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Donnie was born on September 9, 1952, in Logan, Utah, to Darhl Don Williams and Ila Ann Archibald Williams. Growing up she loved being in the kitchen with her grandma. Her dad was in the Navy, and she said she was a Navy brat. She grew up in Plymouth, Utah, Hawaii, Connecticut, and Idaho. She graduated from Fitch High School in 1971.
On August 10, 2002, she married L. Gary Clark in Swan Valley, Idaho. She became a mother to Gary's son and daughter and Gary became a father to her daughter. Donnie worked at the Saddle Sore Saloon, the Covered Wagon Saloon, and the South Fork Lodge.
She had a passion for crafting, camping, and cooking meals to share with family and friends. She always made you feel welcome no matter who you were. She was the most loving, caring person with the biggest heart.
Donnie is survived by her loving husband, Gary Clark of Swan Valley, Idaho; daughter, Marcy (Berry) Clayden of Rigby, Idaho; stepson, Adam (Cassandra) Clark of Clinton, Utah; stepdaughter, Jessica (Tony) Pando of Idaho Falls, Idaho; mother, Ila Taylor of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother, Gerry (Tina) Taylor of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Howard (Mac) Taylor; sister, Gay Lynn Reeves, and her nephew, Nathen Reeves.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Chapel in the Valley, 3263 Swan Valley Hwy. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services.
