Isaias Reyes Vega, 63, of Idaho Falls passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Isaias was born on July 6, 1959, in Oaxaca, Mexico to Alejandrino Reyes and Ignacia Vega. He lived in Oaxaca until he was 16 years old when he moved to the United States. When he was 16, Isaias moved to Mud Lake, Idaho, where he lived with the Rigby family for four years.

Isaias was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At the age of 20, he was called to serve a mission for the church in Mexico.

On July 12, 2008, he married Rocio Nevares in Idaho Falls. Isaias enjoyed the Fall and especially watching the leaves change colors.

Isaias is survived by his wife, Rocio Reyes of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and his daughter, Daniela E. Reyes of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the Idaho Falls Stake Center, 2051 S. Emerson, Idaho Falls. The family will meet with friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2023, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
