Obituary

J. Todd Spaulding, 43, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a short battle with cancer.

Todd was born on March 23, 1976, to Jack Swan and Leisa Ray Spaulding in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He spent his childhood in Rigby until they moved to Idaho Falls where he graduated from Skyline High School in 1994.

After high school, he spent some time attending Utah State University studying aviation. He transferred to Idaho State University, where he completed his bachelor's degree in business.

In October 1995, he married Stephanie Palmer. To this union, one daughter was born, Taylor. They were later divorced. On December 30, 2004, he married Sara Cousin in the Idaho Falls Temple. To this union, 5 children were born: Kaitlyn, Madelyn, Brayden, Logan, and Sophia.

Todd and Sara purchased Once Upon A Child in 2012 and ran the business together. Todd also worked for Skywest because of his love for aviation.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in various callings such as Primary Teacher and Sunday School Teacher for the youth.

He was an active member of the NRA. Todd enjoyed camping with his family and the outdoors. He loved golf, bowling, playing the guitar, firearms, and motorcycles. Todd was a kind, compassionate man who loved to spend time with his family, his greatest gifts. One of his favorite things to do was spend time with family at his grandparents on the drybed.
