Jack L. Clark of Idaho Falls passed away at the age of 77 on Friday, April 1, 2016 surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and other loved ones.

Jack graduated from Pocatello High School in 1956 where he served as Student Body Vice President. After high school, Jack served in the Army at Fort Ord in California and Fort Belfoir in Virginia. He earned his BS in Mathematics from Idaho State University and later completed a MBA equivalent at Northeastern University in Boston, MA in the Professional Management Program. In 1988, he expanded his career as Director of Administration in Ohio at EG&G Mound Applied Technologies for 5 years and then 2 additional years as the President. Prior to retirement, Jack and Margie moved to Albuquerque where he was the Operations Manager for Jacobs Engineering for 3 years.
Jack held many callings in the LDS church, including bishop in Pocatello and Idaho Falls. He loved serving as a counselor in the Stake Presidency in the Idaho Falls West Stake. He enjoyed his service in the Boy Scouts of America and earned the Silver Beaver award and was President of the Miami Valley Boy Scout District in Ohio. He was an example of selflessness wherever he served. He was genuine and had the ability to make everyone feel loved. He was grateful to have had the opportunity to serve with Margie in the Florida Tampa Mission as Mission President. After their mission, they had the joy of serving together at BYU-Idaho in a YSA stake and as temple workers in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Anyone who knew Jack knew of his love of all sports, especially golf. He never missed supporting his kids and later grandkids as they participated in their various events and activities. He loved the time spent teaching his kids and grandkids to golf and fish. Jack has had many great friends and loved playing Rook with "The Gang". His dream was to retire and live on a golf course. This dream came true when they settled back in Idaho Falls in 1998. He loved spending time in his dedicated golf room where he made and repaired clubs for his kids and grandkids.
