Frederick John "Jack" Frankhauser, 82, of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Jack was born on March 5, 1934 in Logan, UT to Frederick and Lila Johnson Frankhauser. Jack grew up and attended school in Logan, graduating from Logan High School.
After High School, Jack joined the Air Force where he served his country during the Korean War.
On January 31, 1957 he married Elizabeth Sifford. They were married for 47 years. Elizabeth passed away July 26, 2004.
Jack was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He enjoyed leatherworks, including making wallets and keychains, gardening, and tending to his 7 chickens, along with comparison shopping. His family always gave him a hard time about his comparison shopping.
Jack is survived by his 2 daughters; Lynn Allen of Idaho Falls, and Anita (David) Stephenson of Las Cruces, NM, one son; Neal Frankhauser of Idaho Falls; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Frankhauser.
