Janet Martha Tracy, 52, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1963, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Cecil Edward Drowns and Sharon Martha Tomas Drowns. She grew up in Ammon and in 1981, she graduated from Bonneville High School. She attended Ricks College for one year. On July 27, 1990, she married David M. Tracy in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Janet worked for Eastern Idaho Medical Center in the histology department. She spent most of her time as a caregiver for her family, kids and at the hospital. Janet was active in the PTO at her children's school, was a volunteer for EIRMC, and was a part of the musical group, Choralaires. She enjoyed knitting, oil painting, singing, doing family history, and cross stitching. Janet was a loving and caring individual. She is survived by the following: Husband, David M. Tracy of Idaho Falls; son, David M. (Stephanie) Tracy Jr. of Idaho Falls; a daughter, Amy Tracy of Idaho Falls; sisters: Mary N Drowns of Idaho Falls and Melinda J Drowns of Rigby; and a brother, Jay E. (Mary) Drowns of Orem, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the Stonehaven LDS Ward, 2055 Coronado, with Bishop Nate Hunsaker officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7-9 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2015, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
